People who have read our last update regarding the registration progress already know that we have been completely overrun. There seems to be a huge interest which puts us – the organizers – in the difficult position that we can not accept everyone to this year’s meeting. This is mainly due to cost and space restrictions of the meeting.
With the end of the registration period we therefore went ahead and approved the last persons to the participants list. As always you find the latest up-to-date list under IGSM 2015>Participants.
After approving everyone who was within their university limits, we had 6 slots left to fill our capacity. We therefore went ahead and started from the beginning of the waiting list and filled these last positions. Just to show how crazy the situation is: these 6 lucky ones registered within the first 10 minutes after midnight!
We now approved 150 registrations as participants – which is our limit – and currently still have 94 interested persons on the waiting list.
What now?
If you were accepted as a participant:
- Your name should be visible on the participants list
- We will soon send you an email from us with the payment details and instructions
- Be sure to transfer the money before the payment deadline!
- Once we receive your payment on our account you will receive the final confirmation which contains your check-in information
If you unfortunately did NOT get accepted as a participant:
- You will stay on the registration list (unless you tell us to remove you from the list)
- Should someone fail to pay their fee until the payment deadline we will add a person from the waiting list
- Should we find ways of increasing the capacity of our meeting we will add persons from the waiting list
